A lifelong search for the beautiful

I believe my quintessential characteristic is my life-long search for beauty. I've always admired those willing to spend a lifetime to master a skill and make inspiring creations. I would love to join those ranks and become an inspiring creator myself. 
 
My interests have been many and various throughout my lifetime:

• I was part of the fashion industry and went to modeling school, designing and tailoring my own fitted clothing.
  
• Working with beautiful furniture and fabrics, I became a master of upholstery, including intricately covered designer lamp shades and fabric painting.
  
• I love color and dove into learning more — even taking a class on personality color theory.
  
• My love of color, shapes and patterns seemed to naturally lead me to becoming an interior decorator.
• Attracted by the artistry of old gates and metal furniture, I learned to weld. I've created both welded art and functionally beautiful welded pieces.

 
Now I've discovered a new direction 
to hold me spellbound indefinitely!
 
I started the Twisted Lady jewelry line because I'm fascinated by precious stones and wire weaving. Learning about the geology behind these stones is never-ending. I investigate online, consult books, and crawl over rocks in the field to find and identify each of my stones.

I believe my many creative endeavors have allowed me a unique perspective in stone placement and color combinations. Combined with my desire for perfection, I'm blessed with the passion, patience and persistence to pour the compulsory hundreds of hours required to create these unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. 

And I've just begun! My passion has now spread  to working with resin and acrylic. I'm creating resin art, dragon eye boxes, hand-painted coasters and much more.
